Properties

Name Type Description
name string IANA timezone identifier.
offset number UTC offset in hours (without DST).
offset_with_dst number Current UTC offset in hours, accounting for DST if active. Same as `offset` when DST is not in effect.
current_time string Current local time at the IP's location. Observed formats include `YYYY-MM-DDTHH:mm:ss±ZZZZ` and `YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm:ss.SSS±ZZZZ`.
current_time_unix number Current time as a Unix timestamp with millisecond precision.
current_tz_abbreviation string Abbreviation of the timezone currently in effect (may be standard or DST).
current_tz_full_name string Full name of the timezone currently in effect.
standard_tz_abbreviation string Abbreviation of the standard (non-DST) timezone.
standard_tz_full_name string Full name of the standard (non-DST) timezone.
is_dst boolean Whether Daylight Saving Time is currently active.
dst_savings number DST offset in hours applied on top of the standard offset when DST is active. `0` means no DST shift (either DST is not active or does not exist).
dst_exists boolean Whether this timezone observes Daylight Saving Time at all.
dst_tz_abbreviation string Abbreviation of the DST timezone. Empty string if DST is not observed.
dst_tz_full_name string Full name of the DST timezone. Empty string if DST is not observed.
dst_start object Start DST transition details. When `dst_exists` is `false`, this is returned as an empty object with no properties.
dst_end object End DST transition details. When `dst_exists` is `false`, this is returned as an empty object with no properties.
